Description
I composed Long Pond Revisited between January and May 2002. The cycle was commissioned by Dr. Adelaide Whitaker for baritone Randall Scarlata, and it sets the poetry of Maine poet C.G.R. Shepard. The five poems used in the cycle deal with death, anger and acceptance.
