Description
This work was co-commissioned by BBC Radio 3 and The Royal Philharmonic Society for soprano Katharina Konradi. The cycle about childhood, seen from the mother's point of view, sets poetry by A.E. Stallings, Eugene Field and Joyce Sutphen. A video of the premiere from October 25, 2020 at Wigmore Hall in London, UK with Katharina Konradi and Joseph Middleton is on my artsongs.com site.
