Don't miss the California premiere of composer Lori Laitman and poet Dana Gioia's popular new opera, The Three Feathers. Produced by Solo Opera and featuring San Francisco Girls Chorus, Members of San Francisco Girls Chorus School, Valérie Sainte-Agathe, Artistic Director, The Three Feathers is a magical work based on a tale by the Brothers Grimm. In the spirit of The Magic Flute and Noye's Fludde, Laitman's The Three Feathers casts a spell of wit and wonder that captivates both children and adults.
Directed by Sylvia Amorino, the new production stars Shawnette Sulker as Princess Dora, Kirk Eichelberger as the Frog King, and Eugene Brancoveanu as the King. Alexander Katsman will conduct.
